While alumni have borrowing privileges, they don't have the same database access that you had while enrolled as a USM student. Because our database licenses define our clientele as current students, faculty, and staff, or anyone who is physically in the library, your remote access is limited to the smaller selection of databases available statewide through the MARVEL website at http://libraries.maine.edu/mainedatabases. Note you will have to register in MARVEL as a Maine resident.
You can also search URSUS and Onesearch remotely, though full text that is restricted by barcode will not be accessible. However you are always welcome to use our public access computers in the libraries to access all USM databases.
Be sure to obtain an alumni card from the USM Libraries if you haven't already.
