If you are presenting a poster at Thinking Matters, the poster will be printed at no charge to you, courtesy of the Office of Research Administration and Development. For all other situations that require a poster to be printed, check the options below:

  • The USM GIS Lab can print your formatted poster at favorable rates for USM patrons for USM purposes. Contact them for deadlines and printing costs. As of Sept 2014, that cost was $3.333 per square foot, plus tax when applicable.
  • Faculty needs may be met with funds from course fees (where the poster is related to the class), research grants, program budgets, deans, or the Provost.
  • Check with Special Collections in Glickman Library to determine if your poster might be eligible for printing there for a fee.
  • Local businesses that offer the service for a fee include FedEx, Spiller's, Xpress Copy, or Staples. Prices will vary by company, poster dimensions, paper desired, color or b&w, etc.

Let us know if you find other options and we will share them here!
